Driver Age Restrictions
The minimum driving age to rent a vehicle is 0 and the maximum age limit is 98

Drivers aged from 0 to 24 incur a surcharge of 10.00 EUR per day to a maximum charge of 100.00 EUR

Driving Licence
Drivers must present a full valid national licence at time of rental. Drivers Aged 19 to 25 must have held a Full Driving Licence for a minimum of 1 Year to Rent a vehicle, Drivers Aged 75 to 98 must have held a Full Driving Licence for a minimum of 1 Year to Rent a vehicle.
International driver licence is required if the drivers licence is not written in the Latin alphabet.
Driver Identity
If arriving from outside Portugal you will need to present your passport as identification when collecting a vehicle as well as your driving licence.
RoadSide Assistance / Breakdown Instruction - Procedures
In case of breakdown, we offer 24 hour road side assistance with Taxi transportation to the nearest rental location.
Client must contact the rental company at the number provided on the rental agreement if breakdown occurs within normal working hours or, call the roadside assistance directly if otherwise. Car plate number and address of the location where the breakdown occurred must be at hand to ensure fast and accurate communication.
A taxi will be sent to transport the clients to the nearest rental location for a replacement car and a tow truck to take the car away if necessary.
(malfunctions easily repaired can be done on the spot).
Accident Instruction / Procedures
Vehicle must never be removed from place of accident until police report has been completed and the car rental company has been notified.
If you do not report the accident to the Police and comply with the requirements under the country's law, the insurance might become invalid.
The report should state if there was any influence of alcohol or drugs.
If the vehicle is damaged while parked you have to report the damage to local Police and the car rental company before the car is moved.
It is mandatory for the client to file a police report in case of theft and to turn this document in to the car rental company. It is essential that you also inform any theft to the car rental company immediately. Documents of the car and the keys of the car must be handed to the car rental company.
The client must report all damages IMMEDIATELY to the car rental company.
Failure to notify any accident or damage to the vehicle may be interpreted as negligence. This may result in a charge to the client.

Cleaning Policy
At Right Cars Global Rentals, every vehicle is thoroughly cleaned and sanitized before each rental to ensure a clean and comfortable experience for all customers. We understand that light use may result in minor dust on mats, small marks from shoes, or a few disposable items left behind — this is considered normal and does not require extra cleaning. However, if a vehicle is returned in a condition that exceeds normal use, such as with large food or drink spills, strong or unpleasant odors (including from smoking or food), excessive pet hair, heavy mud or sand on seats or carpets, the presence of vomit, bodily fluids, or sticky substances, additional cleaning will be required. All our vehicles are strictly non-smoking, and any evidence of smoking, such as ash, cigarette butts, burns, or smoke odor, will result in a deep cleaning process. While pets are welcome, vehicles must be returned free from pet-related mess, including hair, dirt, or odors. Customers are kindly requested to return vehicles in a reasonably clean condition to help us maintain the high standards expected by all renters.
Smoking
Smoking is strictly prohibited in all vehicles rented from Right Cars Global Rentals. This includes cigarettes, cigars, e-cigarettes, vapes, and any other form of smoking or vaporizing device. Our vehicles are maintained to a high standard of cleanliness and comfort for all customers, and smoking inside the vehicle compromises that standard. Any evidence of smoking — including but not limited to odor, ash, cigarette butts, or burn marks — will result in the vehicle being flagged for deep cleaning. We kindly ask all customers to respect this policy to ensure a pleasant rental experience for everyone. Failure to comply may result in additional cleaning charges as determined by the branch.
Flight Delay Policy
If we have be given the flight number we will monitor all flights for any delays and keep the car for the customer in opening hours, if customers is delayed and arrives when the branch is closed, they can collect the car the next morning, we will keep the car for them until midday the next morning. If no flight number has been given, then we will only keep the car for the customer for 2 hrs after their booking collection time.
Key Replacement / Lost Document Policy
If a rental vehicle key is lost, the customer will be responsible for the full cost of a replacement key, including any programming or re-coding required. In addition, an administrative fee will be charged to cover the time and resources involved in arranging the replacement. This policy applies to all vehicle types and key formats, including remote fobs and smart keys. We strongly recommend that customers take care to keep keys secure at all times during the rental period.
Unused Days
Please note that any unused rental days are non-refundable. Once the rental period has commenced, no refunds will be issued for early returns or for days not used, regardless of the reason. This policy applies to all bookings and ensures that vehicles reserved for your rental period are not reallocated or rebooked for other customers. We encourage you to plan your rental dates carefully before confirming your reservation.

Collection Instructions
After collecting luggage, please proceed to arrivals area find an exit door. Please call the 00351 961 435 530 and our RIGHT CARS GLOBAL RENTALS representative will be meeting you in this area with the shuttle bus to transport you and your luggage to the rental station where you will take your rental car.
