Unlimited Mileage is included in the price of your rental The fuel policy at this branch is collect with a full tank of fuel and return with a full tank of fuel. No charges for fuel will be added to your rental costs unless you return the vehicle with less than a full tank of fuel. If you return the vehicle with less than a full tank of, you will be charged for the nearest 8th of a tank at current pump price plus an admin fee of 35.00 EUR. No Fuel deposit will be taken when you collect the vehicle. No refunds will be given for unused fuel.

Collision Damage Waiver

CDW is included in the rental price and comes with an excess as detailed in the invoice section. If you damage the vehicle you are liable up to the excess amount. If you have purcahsed excess insurance from a third party company and you damge the vehicle, we will provide you with an invoice, which will be deducted from your deposit amount and then you must claim back the value of the invoice frm your third party insurrance agent. Please note : Tyres, Glass and the underneath of the vehicle are not covered by this insurance

Additional Driver

Only the Renter is permitted to drive the vehicle. It is illegal to allow anyone else to drive the vehicle and your insurance will become void

Tyre Insurance

Tyres insurance is not included with the standard insurance. Tyre insurance can be purchased locally at the branch, The cost does vary on the vehicle selected. Driver Age Restrictions

The minimum driving age to rent a vehicle is 20 and the maximum age limit is 80

Driving Licence

All drivers must have held their license for at least one year before the start of the rental. The driver shall abide by Icelandic law and regulations when driving. All named drivers must present an appropriate drivers license, valid for the car group rented, a valid national identity card or passport and a valid major credit card in the renters own name with available credit. Copies are not accepted. Driving license for vehicle group OVMR must include approval for category D.

The Event of an Accident: In every case please inform branch straight away. Call 112 if it’s collision. Take photos from accident place of the damage and anything that could be useful in a claim.

One Way Rentals

One Way Rentals Are Not permitted

Admin Fee

A standard admin fee of 35.00 EUR is charged to cover the costs of processing speeding fine, parking tickets, or any other related traffic offences, and any other administration work required.

Cleaning Policy

At Right Cars Global Rentals, every vehicle is thoroughly cleaned and sanitized before each rental to ensure a clean and comfortable experience for all customers. We understand that light use may result in minor dust on mats, small marks from shoes, or a few disposable items left behind — this is considered normal and does not require extra cleaning. However, if a vehicle is returned in a condition that exceeds normal use, such as with large food or drink spills, strong or unpleasant odors (including from smoking or food), excessive pet hair, heavy mud or sand on seats or carpets, the presence of vomit, bodily fluids, or sticky substances, additional cleaning will be required. All our vehicles are strictly non-smoking, and any evidence of smoking, such as ash, cigarette butts, burns, or smoke odor, will result in a deep cleaning process. While pets are welcome, vehicles must be returned free from pet-related mess, including hair, dirt, or odors. Customers are kindly requested to return vehicles in a reasonably clean condition to help us maintain the high standards expected by all renters.

Pets And Service Animals Policy

No pets allowed in the rental vehicles. Should it be found that a customer has had pets in the vehicles a cleaning charge of 95.00 EUR will be chargeable.

Smoking

Smoking is strictly prohibited in all vehicles rented from Right Cars Global Rentals. This includes cigarettes, cigars, e-cigarettes, vapes, and any other form of smoking or vaporizing device. Our vehicles are maintained to a high standard of cleanliness and comfort for all customers, and smoking inside the vehicle compromises that standard. Any evidence of smoking — including but not limited to odor, ash, cigarette butts, or burn marks — will result in the vehicle being flagged for deep cleaning. We kindly ask all customers to respect this policy to ensure a pleasant rental experience for everyone. Failure to comply may result in additional cleaning charges as determined by the branch.

Flight Delay Policy

If we have be given the flight number we will monitor all flights for any delays and keep the car for the customer in opening hours, if customers is delayed and arrives when the branch is closed, they can collect the car the next morning, we will keep the car for them until midday the next morning. If no flight number has been given and the customer has not contacted us at the branch, then we will only keep the car for the customer for 2 hrs after their booking collection time. Rentals picked up 2 hrs after their booking collection time will in all cases be subject to an additional amendment fee of 50 EUR in addition with out of oporation hours fee if applicable.

Own Insurance

Customers who choose to use their own insurance must ensure that their policy provides comprehensive cover for the full value of the rental vehicle, including all costs associated with repair or replacement in the event of damage, theft, or total loss. The insurance must also cover any loss of rental income incurred while the vehicle is being repaired or replaced. In addition, the policy must include full public liability insurance, third-party cover, and full theft protection with replacement value. Proof of insurance must be provided prior to the start of the rental. Failure to meet these requirements may result in the rental being declined or the need to purchase coverage through our rental service. The details deposit and excess amounts are listed below

Key Replacement / Lost Document Policy

If a rental vehicle key is lost, the customer will be responsible for the full cost of a replacement key, including any programming or re-coding required. In addition, an administrative fee will be charged to cover the time and resources involved in arranging the replacement. This policy applies to all vehicle types and key formats, including remote fobs and smart keys. We strongly recommend that customers take care to keep keys secure at all times during the rental period.

Unused Days

Please note that any unused rental days are non-refundable. Once the rental period has commenced, no refunds will be issued for early returns or for days not used, regardless of the reason. This policy applies to all bookings and ensures that vehicles reserved for your rental period are not reallocated or rebooked for other customers. We encourage you to plan your rental dates carefully before confirming your reservation.

Late Return Policy

For a Late Returning customer a grace period will be allowed of 90mins from the specified drop off time on the voucher. If you have further delays please inform the branch as soon as possible. Failing to inform the branch and going past the grace period you will be charged at a daily rental charge at the current time and not the booking.

Collection Instructions

We will pick you up at KeflavaÂak International Airporta when your flight has arrived and you have collected your luggage. We will meet you in the arrival hall with our logo on a white board. From the airport we will transfer you directly to our Keflavak Office, Bogatr 1, 262 Reykjanesba¦ra (Keflavak). There we deliver you the car and provide you with all the information you need. Our representative arrives at the arrival hall every 20-30 minutes (given that customer are scheduled and have provided the correct flight information).If you cannot find us at the airport, please call us and we will be with you soon: +354 511 5660

General Details

All costs derived from the use of the incorrect and/or lack of fuel are not included. Right Cars is not to be held liable for items stolen, forgotten or lost inside the vehicle. It is recommended that the customers have these items covered through personal travel insurance. The loss of the vehicle Key or documents is not covered. Damages or costs deriving from customers loading the car with more than the stated capacity or taking vehicles "off-road" (unpaved roads) will be the customer`s responsibility. No insurance will cover customers driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, and/or found using their mobile phone at the time of an accident. The vehicles displayed and models listed are the most common vehicles used by our car rental partners. We cannot guarantee the make/model or traction of the rental vehicle will be the same as the vehicle displayed on our website.

Disclaimer

Rental might be denied if you do not meet the car rental company's requirements to rent a vehicle, or if you do not have available all necessary documentation. Additional fees may apply for rental service beyond hours of operation, such fees being levied by the rental company stated on this booking confirmation and under the terms and conditions of that rental company and in local currency. Driving on unpaved or unauthorized roads will result in your insurance coverage will be terminated automatically
