Policy
Driver Age Restrictions
The minimum driving age to rent a vehicle is 21 and the maximum age limit is 79
Drivers aged from 21 to 25 incur a surcharge of 15.00 EUR per rental day
Drivers aged from 70 to 79 incur a surcharge of 15.00 EUR per rental day
Driving Licence
All drivers must have held their license for at least one year before the start of the rental. The driver shall abide by Icelandic law and regulations when driving.
All named drivers must present an appropriate driverÃ?Æ?Ã?Æ?Ã?â??Ã?¢Ã?Æ?Ã?â??Ã?â??Ã?â?¬Ã?Æ?Ã?â??Ã?â??Ã?â?¢s license, valid for the car group rented, a valid national identity card or passport and a valid major credit card in the renter's own name with available credit. Copies are not accepted. Driving license for vehicle group OVMR must include approval for category D.

RoadSide Assistance / Breakdown Instruction - Procedures
In case of breakdown please contact branch where you have picked up the car and our employees will help you with your case or will prepare for you a replacement vehicle.
Accident Instruction / Procedures
The Event of an Accident: In every case please inform branch straight away. Call 112 if its collision or emergency. Take photos from accident place of the damage and anything that could be useful in a claim.
One Way Rentals
One Way Rentals Are Not permitted
Flight Delay Policy
If we have be given the flight number we will monitor all flights for any delays and keep the car for the customer in opening hours, if customers is delayed and arrives when the branch is closed, they can collect the car the next morning, we will keep the car for them until midday the next morning. If no flight number has been given and the customer has not contacted us at the branch, then we will only keep the car for the customer for 2 hrs after their booking collection time.
