Driver Age Restrictions

The minimum driving age to rent a vehicle is 21 and the maximum age limit is 70

Drivers aged from 25 to 70 incur a surcharge of .00 USD

Driving Licence

Drivers must present a full valid national licence at time of rental and must have held the licence for a minimum period of 2 years.The renter must also have a international drivers permit, if they do not have this they will need to purchase a permit from the rental desk at 22.00 USD which covers you for the entire rental up to 3 months. This is issued from the St Lucian Goverment and is required by law. International driver licence is required if the drivers licence is not written in the Latin alphabet.

Driver Identity

Foreigner/Visitor - Passport with valid Arrival stamp - Valid Driver’s licence (with English Translation or IDL) - Credit card - under renter’s name Local Renters - Valid Government issued ID - Valid Driver’s licence - Credit card - under renter’s name -A proof of billing under the renter name and address n of the Driving Licence or an International Driving Licence and Passport. A Drivers Permit is required for all foreigners at a cost of 21USD.

Additional Driver

A Maximum of 3 additional drivers may be added to the rental contract at a cost of 5.00 USD each per day to a maximum of 105 USD each per rental plus tax. Each Addtional Driver must meet the driving licence criteria. Additional drivers can only be added for the full duration of the rental. All insurance cover as part of the rental contract will become void, in particular, If an unauthorized driver has used the vehicle or if the driver of the vehicle does not possess the required driving licence at the time of the event giving rise to claim.
A Total of 2 additional drivers may be added , the charges for which are detailed below

Tyre Insurance

Tyres insurance is not included with the standard insurance Tyre insurance can be purchased locally at the branch The cost does vary on the vehicle selected If for any reason you need to replace a tyre on the vehicle during the rental period you must replace with the same make and model of tyre fitted to the vehicle otherwise you will be charge upon return

Glass Insurance

Glass insurance is not included with the standard insurance

Fuel And Mileage

Unlimited Mileage is included subject to our fair usage policy

RoadSide Assistance / Mechanical Breakdown Cover

Roadside assistance / Breakdown Cover due to driver negligence ie miss fueling, driver fault accident, flat battery etc is not Included in the Rental Price Quoted but can be purchased at the rental desk at a cost of 8.00 USD per day plus tax.

First thing to do is get it out of the way of traffic. If there’s a hard shoulder or Emergency bay / parking area you can pull into. If there isn’t, pull over off the road as far as you can. - Put the hazard lights on and get everyone out of the car and away from the road, using the doors facing away from the road. If you believe it’s too dangerous to get out of the car, make sure everyone keeps their seatbelts on, put your hazard lights on – and call 911 and roadside assitance to +17587205418.

Flight Delay Policy

If we have be given the flight number we will monitor all flights for any delays and keep the car for the customer in opening hours, if customers is delayed and arrives when the branch is closed, they can collect the car the next morning, we will keep the car for them until midday the next morning. If no flight number has been given, then we will only keep the car for the customer for 2 hrs after their booking collection time.
