Driving Licence

Drivers must present a full valid national licence at time of rental and must have held the licence for a minimum period of 2 years.The renter must also have a international drivers permit, if they do not have this they will need to purchase a permit from the rental desk at 22.00 USD which covers you for the entire rental up to 3 months. This is issued from the St Lucian Goverment and is required by law. International driver licence is required if the drivers licence is not written in the Latin alphabet.

Driver Identity

Foreigner/Visitor - Passport with valid Arrival stamp - Valid Driver’s licence (with English Translation or IDL) - Credit card - under renter’s name Local Renters - Valid Government issued ID - Valid Driver’s licence - Credit card - under renter’s name -A proff of billing under the renter name and address n of the Driving Licence or an International Driving Licence and Passport. A Drivers Permit is required for all foreigners at a cost of 21USD.

Additional Driver

A Maximum of 3 additional drivers may be added to the rental contract at a cost of 5.00 USD each per day to a maximum of 105 USD each per rental plus tax. Each Addtional Driver must meet the driving licence criteria. Additional drivers can only be added for the full duration of the rental. All insurance cover as part of the rental contract will become void, in particular, If an unauthorized driver has used the vehicle or if the driver of the vehicle does not possess the required driving licence at the time of the event giving rise to claim.

Fuel And Mileage

Unlimited Mileage is included subject to our fair usage policy The fuel policy at this branch is collect with a full tank of fuel and return with a full tank of fuel. No charges for fuel will be added to your rental costs unless you return the vehicle with less than a full tank of fuel. If you return the vehicle with less than a full tank of, you will be charged for the missing fuel at 9.99 USD per gallon plus tax and an admin fee of 20.00 USD plus tax. No Fuel deposit will be taken when you collect the vehicle. No refunds will be given for unused fuel.

If there isn’t, pull over off the road as far as you can. - Put the hazard lights on and get everyone out of the car and away from the road, using the doors facing away from the road. If you believe it’s too dangerous to get out of the car, make sure everyone keeps their seatbelts on, put your hazard lights on – and call 911 and roadside assitance to +17587205418.

Admin Fee

A standard admin fee of 75.00 USD plus tax is charged to cover the costs of processing speeding fine, parking tickets, or any other related traffic offences, and any other administration work required.

Pets And Service Animals Policy

No pets allowed in the rental vehicles. Should it be found that a customer has had pets in the vehicles a cleaning charge of 250.00 USD plus tax will be chargeable.

Smoking

There is a very clear no smoking policy in the rental vehicles. Should it be found that a customer has been smoking in the vehicles a cleaning charge of 250.00 USD plus tax will be chargeable.

Flight Delay Policy

If we have be given the flight number we will monitor all flights for any delays and keep the car for the customer in opening hours, if customers is delayed and arrives when the branch is closed, they can collect the car the next morning, we will keep the car for them until midday the next morning. If no flight number has been given, then we will only keep the car for the customer for 2 hrs after their booking collection time.

If a vehicle is returned early we do not refund for any unsued rental days

Late Return Policy

For a Late Returning customer a grace period will be allowed of 60mins from the specified drop off time on the voucher. If you have further delays please inform the branch as soon as possible. Failing to inform the branch and going past the grace period you will be charged at a daily rental charge at the current time and not the booking.

Once you are ready to pick up, please call our Customer Service Representative on 17587202043 for your exact location to have one of our agents meet you with your requested vehicle. upon arrival from any one of our airports one of our agents will be on-site with zezgo identified signs where we will meet you and take you to your vehicle in the airport car park.

General Details

All costs derived from the use of the incorrect and/or lack of fuel are not included. Zezgo is not to be held liable for items stolen, forgotten or lost inside the vehicle or any parts stole or lost from the vehicle. It is recommended that the customers have these items covered through personal travel insurance. The loss of the vehicle Key or documents is not covered. Damages or costs deriving from customers loading the car with more than the stated capacity or taking vehicles "off-road" (unpaved roads) will be the customer`s responsibility. No insurance will cover customers driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, and/or found using their mobile phone at the time of an accident. The vehicles displayed and models listed are the most common vehicles used by our car rental partners. We cannot guarantee the make/model or traction of the rental vehicle will be the same as the vehicle displayed on our website.
